I'm a person that is obsessed with cataloging every aspect of their life. Unfortunately, this is becoming harder and harder to do with increasing ammounts of esponsibilities. Nonetheless, what you'll find on this website are lists of all the media I have consumed, most of which are rated, many of which are dated, and some of which are reviewed. You'll also find a showcase of what I think are my best writings! Below is a monologue on some important information about my style as a critic, as well as a place for you to give me recommendations!

On Objectivity

• I don't believe anything is objectively good, nor bad.
  • However, if you disagree with an opinion of mine, I'd love to hear your perspective.

On Ratings

• My ratings are a reflection of three things:
  • How much I enjoyed a particular work.
  • How much the work has impacted my life and/or my perception of life as a whole.
  • How often I can re-watch the work.
• I use a weird system: I rate everything out of 11.
  • This ensures that those masterpieces, the 10s, have their rightful spot, but allows me to differentiate between them!
• No two works of a given medium will ever have the same rating.
• Only my absolute favorite ever gets an 11.
• Only media that has made me cry will ever be eligible for a 10 or higher.

On Dates

• Not everything is dated, because unfortunately, I was unable to catalog my consumption of things straight out of the womb.
• Sometimes a particular work will take me a long time to get through, and I pay more attention to when I finish rather than when I start.
• I try and review every work I've consumed throughout a given week on weekends.
  • If this is repeatedly not possible, or I forget to write a review for over three months, I will not review it until a re-consumption of the work in question.

On Reviews

• The length or content of my review is generally inconsistent with my enjoyment of the work I am reviewing.
  • However, I am currently re-consuming some of my most favorite works, as I think they deserve better reviews.
    • This is part of my effort to be more consistent, and write reviews that accurately reflect the score the work was given.
• Additionally, as of June 2022, only works that I deem worthy of a review, will get a review. This ensures that every review I put out is of a high quality standard.
